A. Learning and Development
At ERDA, we firmly believe that continuous improvement stems from constant learning and enhancing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of our most valuable asset—our employees.
i) Leadership Training at Prestigious IIM-Indore
As part of our commitment to nurturing future leaders and ensuring a robust succession plan, ERDA deputed its emerging leaders to participate in a leadership development program at India’s premier institute, IIM-Indore, during July and September 2024.
His initiative underscores ERDA’s dedication to empowering employees and preparing them to lead with excellence and vision.
ii) Training on ‘Inner Engineering at Isha Foundation, Vadodara
iii) Training intervention organised by ERDA on ‘Leadership – Play Your Ace Game’
ERDA conducted a comprehensive training program aimed at fostering leadership development, enhancing productivity, cultivating future leaders, and promoting effective delegation and motivation across sections.
27 emerging leaders, including heads of sections and group heads, participated in a dynamic four-day classroom training session featuring interactive exercises and activities. This was followed by two online follow-up sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, to reinforce learning and sustain momentum.
iii) Training intervention organised by ERDA on ‘Leadership – Play Your Ace Game’
ERDA conducted a comprehensive training program aimed at fostering leadership development, enhancing productivity, cultivating future leaders, and promoting effective delegation and motivation across sections.
27 emerging leaders, including heads of sections and group heads, participated in a dynamic four-day classroom training session featuring interactive exercises and activities. This was followed by two online follow-up sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, to reinforce learning and sustain momentum.
B. Celebrations at ERDA
i) Independence Day
ERDA celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm on August 15, 2024. Mrs. Lata Shah from the Documentation Section was honoured with the privilege of hoisting the National Flag. Mrs. Shah retired from ERDA in September 2024, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished career of 33 years.
ii) Ganesh Chaturthi
The Ganesh Utsav at ERDA was celebrated with immense devotion and enthusiasm from September 7 to 17, 2024. A group of self-motivated employees took the initiative to renovate the Ganesh Temple area, decorating it beautifully and organizing the Ganesh Puja. The Prasad was distributed with heartfelt devotion. Over the course of 10 days, different group sections performed the aarti, adding to the spirit of the celebrations.
iii) Satya Narayan Katha and the Chappan Bhog
On September 10, 2024, ERDA employees organized a Satyanarayan Katha in celebration of Ganesh Utsav. Employees attended the puja and received Prasad as part of the ritual.
On September 12, 2024, the employees organized a special ‘Chappan Bhog’ Prasad offering and sought blessings from Lord Ganesha. The following day, September 13, 2024, employees gathered to celebrate with a lively ‘Garba’ session, further invoking blessings from Lord Ganesha.
iv) Satya Narayan Katha and the Chappan Bhog
On Visarjan day, September 17, 2024, employees gave Lord Ganesha a royal send-off. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as employees danced during the visarjan procession. The celebration concluded with a refreshing high tea, marking the end of the vibrant festivities.
