As the response time of switchgear products in case of abnormalities are key to safeguard the electrical network and connected equipment in circuit, it is important that every switchgear product should be evaluated for its performance evaluation. ERDA with its state of the art switchgear laboratory has facilities for switchgear products as per various national and international standards.

- 2 no. IP Test Chamber including Asia’s Largest Chamber of 40 Ton, 6.5 m x 5.5 m x 4.0 m
- Computerized environmental test chambers with range of -40°C to +180°C of size 850 mm x 1150 mm x 950 mm & 350 mm x 450 mm x 450 mm
- Facility for Distribution Switchboards with 16 outgoing feeders
